Situated on one acre with 120 feet of natural sandy beach, this home features a formal living room with wood-burning fireplace, kitchen, dining room, sunken family room, sunroom, four bedrooms sleeping nine (with room for more), 2.5 baths and two-car garage. You’ll spend hours outside on the wrap-around deck or in the four-person hot tub viewing the spectacular sunsets over New York’s Adirondack Mountains.
After driving down the half-mile, tree-lined, private Thayer Beach Road, you’ll arrive at the very last house on the road - great for entertaining your friends and family. They can arrive by boat, by car, or even by seaplane! There is a boat mooring directly in front of the house for you or your guests to use. Thayer Beach is famous for its pristine white sand that stretches out 1/4 mile into the lake. Adjacent to the property is the Town of Colchester's 47-acre park, the Rosetti Natural Area. This wooded park has a 1/4 mile public beach. Malletts Bay Village is a one-mile walk or bike ride and includes a great Vermont country store, a bakery, gas station, hardware/tackle shop, several boat marinas, and much more.
