Deposits A 50 percent deposit is required with your reservation. A refundable Security
Deposit ($500) and balance of rental are due 30 days prior to your arrival.
Payment must be made by check or money order. The Security Deposit will be returned
to you within 10 days after departure less any damage or loss.
Cancellations Your deposit will be refunded less a $100 handling fee if cancellation is made
at least 45 days prior to your designated arrival date. Fifty percent of the
deposit will be refunded if cancellation is made after 45 days and before 30
days prior to your designated arrival date. The deposit will be forfeited if
cancellation is within 30 days of your designated arrival date.
Discounts There will be a five percent discount off of the regular rate (see
Rates & Availability page) for two-week stays. A 10 percent discount off
of the regular rate for four-week stays.
Check-in / Check-out Check-in time is 3 p.m. on Saturdays. Check-out time is
10 a.m. on Saturdays. The time in between is used for cleaning and maintenance.
Phone use The phone is available for local calls only. Please bring your calling
card and/or cell phone for long distance calls.
Smoking Regs NO SMOKING indoors.
Pets Well-behaved pets are welcome, but you are
responsible for any damage. There is a strict leash law in Colchester - pets
must be leashed at all times. Please clean up all pet poop.
House & Parking Capacities A maximum of nine people can reside in the
house and a maximum of three cars can be on the property.
VT Rooms & meals Tax The rental of this house is
subject to the Vermont Rooms and Meals Tax of nine percent. The damage deposit
may not be used for this charge.
